English driver hands over Homer Simpson’s ID to police during a traffic stop

Police in the Thames Valley, in the southeast of England, have gone viral for their incredible forgery bust last week.

A copper pulled over a driver in the Milton Keynes area and, after asking to see his ID, she discovered this:

Yep, we kid you not.

Somehow, the cluey copper cottoned on to the fact that this cold have been a fake.

The incredible find was posted to Twitter and Facebook by the department, quickly going viral.

It clocked up thousands of likes across social media platforms and was splashed on major news sites across the globe.

Eventually, it was given the viral nod it deserved; being made into a Twitter Moment.

But as funny as it was, the bloke behind the wheel probs isn’t laughing.

“The driver's car was seized and he was reported for driving with no insurance and driving without a proper licence,” a Thames Valley police spokesperson said.
