Greedy goanna's unfortunate egg mistake

A greedy goanna bit off more than she could chew after accidentally swallowing six golf balls at a farm near Byron Bay in New South Wales.

The reptile thought she was feasting on eggs after sneaking into a chicken coop.

But the farmer had put the balls in there to encourage the hens to lay.

An X-ray showed the creature’s unfortunate mistake.

Luckily, the animal, which has been called Tiger, avoided surgery off after coughing up the strange snack.
