Frog's failed lunge for lunch speaks to all of us

For anyone whose scrunched up ball of paper has ever missed the bin a metre away, this one's for you.

This video of a frog lunging for a bug just centimetres from his face and missing spectacularly speaks to us.

Never before has there been such an accurate visual representation for our failures.

The video was posted from a Japanese Twitter account, but the plight of the little frog transcended all language barriers.

Love knows no language, and apparently neither does revelling in the failure of an unknown amphibian.

Because we've all been there.

Whether it was in the form of going in for a catch or answering a question in school - who hasn't confidentially gone for something they thought they had in the bag only to miss the mark completely? 

Very few of us.

But thankfully, for most of us at least, our failings haven't been retweeted more than 14,000 times.
