Another day, another loose unit of an Aussie animal.

Check out this green tree frog, who clearly is tougher than its cute exterior.

This wild bit of gear was hungry and, instead settling for a fly or a moth, decided to go big.

This crazy example of Australian wildlife was captured in Collinsville, in north Queensland.

But, while we’d like being able to go around saying Aussie frogs absolutely eat snakes, we’re going to have to burst the bubble.

The frog realised it had perhaps bitten off more than it could chew and eventually had to regurgitate the snake.

We mean, good on the green fella for trying, but you can only fit so much snake in a tiny, tiny stomach.

The snake, by the way, was keelback, which is non-venomous and is known as an “inoffensive species” to the folk at Queensland Museum.

According to reports, the snake was totally fine afterwards.
