These days summer isn't really summer if you haven't floated on a body of water in a novelty inflatable bird.
It's all about the swan and flamingo pool toys these days, and you can totally understand why.
These things are cool.
And the pictures on the boxes make you think that sitting in one of those plastic sacks of air is going to look glam AF.
It's easy to assume that you're going to look like a Jenner sister or an extra at one of Taylor Swift's pool parties.
But the reality is something much closer to this video of a mum trying on the trend.
This beach goddess was wanting to soak up some sun in San Antonio Bay, Ibiza and knew the only way to laze about was in a giant flamingo.
Unfortunately, things didn't go to plan.
She fumbled around.
She got stuck.
And her struggling attracted the attention of a lifeguard, who came to put an end to her helpless flailing.
But while this wasn't something you'd upload to Instagram in a hurry, we're glad her loving offspring was around to film it.
She wasn't Talor Swift bestie material, but she was doing her best.
And we love her for it.
