Eurovision song contest 2018 bizarre ban list

Eurovision’s list of bizarre prohibited itemprohibited item has left fans confused.

The list sees items such as trolleys, sticks, ladders, handcuffs and golf balls banned from this year’s song contest.

Fans took to Twitter to express their amusement.

The items have been banned to ensure the safety of those attending the event, according to the Eurovision website.

This year’s concert will be held in Lisbon on May 8 and, once again, will deliver bizarre performances that fans love.

Lisbon has decided to ban flashing LED screens so audiences focus on the singing rather than the over-the-top staging Eurovision has become known for, according to The Mirror.

But Sweden will ignore the ban and will bring their own screens for contestant Benjamin Ingrosso's performance, according to The Mirror.

This year, 43 countries will take part in the competition, including Australia’s Jessica Mauboy, who will perform 'We Got Love'.
