Enormous 400kg snake discovered in Brazil

Australians have a strange kind of pride in their deadly animals, but this monster snake discovered in Brazil puts our reptiles in the shade. 

Brazilian workers captured video of the enormous 10m-long anaconda, which was reportedly found on a construction site in the country's north.  

The footage — which was uploaded onto YouTube — shows the enormous creature chained and strapped to the back of a trailer.

It's not known whether the snake is alive or dead. 

According to the description, the anaconda was found at the Belo Monte Dam and weighed a staggering 400kg.
