Despite how many of us have been on a plane, there remains a veil of mystery of the world of flight attendants that captivates us all.
What secrets are they hiding in their trolleys?
What are those pleasant smiles hiding?
And how is it that they seem to know what the other is thinking without uttering so much as a word?
Well the lid has been blown right off their underground operation after being sprung by UK radio presenter Jamie East, who covertly recorded this strange set of secret codes on an EasyJet flight:
There it is!
Proof that these flying uniformed people are using super secret code to communicate with one another.
The conspiracy has been brought out from the dark underbelly of the luggage hold and dragged out on to the tarmac in the cold light of day.
There was no choice but for EasyJet to come clean.
"We don’t usually disclose our training secrets but hopefully this might explain..." the airline fessed up on Twitter.
They posted the above top secret training video on their YouTube channel the same day to come clean about their use of signals aboard a plane.
And it's one hundred per cent serious, thank you very much.
Some might say the video is taking the mickey, others might say the super fast turnaround of such a professional video might reek of a clever PR stunt between the airline and East and others might just be dreaming up wild theories.
But we're choosing to believe this is real, gosh darn it.
