Delivery guy's humiliating mistake caught on hotel lobby's security cameras

Most of us do embarrassing things from time to time.

Maybe you answer "good thank you" when someone says "hi".

Maybe you absent-mindedly end your phone call with a "love you" or accidentally find yourself telling someone you barely know about having head lice as an adult.

Whatever it is, we're usually able to contain the humiliation to a small circle and can curtail the shame by hiding from the world for the rest of our lives.

So you have to really have to feel for this poor bloke, whose shame will be eternal (well, until a devastating solar flare fries all the earth's electrical goods and takes us back to the Iron Age).

He was delivering a package to a hotel in Wuhan City, China and walked right into a water feature in the lobby.

Apparently he thought there was a glass cover over the water but, alas, there was not.

And so he pretty much belly flopped into the water.

We know, how embarro.

It's the kind of thing you would keep under wraps, if you could.

But the security cameras were perfectly set up to capture this splash of shame and now it has gone viral, being shared around Chinese media and then trickling through to the rest of the world.

Poor guy, he'll never live this one down with his mates.
