This is Rocky, a crocodile who lives at the Wild Life Sydney Zoo and this is how he celebrates being Australian.

Because he doesn’t have opposable thumbs and generally likes to eat raw, bloodied hunks of meat, a good old fashioned Aussie barbie isn’t really his style.

He’s not big into Bega cubes, he doesn’t really do kabana and he never keeps a tub of hummus in the fridge.

Plus, because he weighs a hefty 365kg, the big fella would need A LOT of crunchy noodle salad to fill him up.

So his keeper Mick Craig decided to chuck him the crocodile version of a sausage sizzle, throwing a big ole slab of lamb, beef racks and a few raw snags into his enclosure.

And just like us human Aussies, Rocky doesn’t lamb alone.

His ‘Strayan gatho included a few awed bystanders who popped by to have a gander.

While he’s always open for visitors, it’s clear that bringing a box of Jatz around to his place woudn’t really do the trick.
