Seeing eye dog prepping for the Queen’s Baton Relay is all kinds of adorable

Meet Boss.

He’s a black lab with big dreams, and he’s got a big job ahead of him.

Being the seeing eye dog for three-time Paralympian Gerrard Gosens, he’s used to a challenge.

His very important day job is no easy feat.

But now he’s gearing up for the Queen’s Baton Relay ahead of the Commonwealth Games at the Gold Coast.

Boss and Gosen will be running the ceremonial baton from the Graceville State School bus stop in Brisbane on March 30, just before 5pm.

And in perhaps our favourite examples of hype-building promo material for the big games, we get to see Boss prepping for his historical walk.

This delightful video was made with the help of the team at Tourism and Events Queensland, and we honestly couldn’t think of a better use of anyone’s time.
