Nothing says commitment like permanent ink!

In utterly adorable news, Married at First Sight's season one success couple have revealed they both got tattoos two weeks into their televised marriage.

Sharing photos of their ink on Instagram, Alex Garner and Zoe Hendrix have said they went through with the tattoos in honour of each other and though the process was filmed, viewers never saw the vision.

"We did some crazy things in the filming of [Married at First Sight] that never made the cut," 27-year-old Zoe wrote. "One of them was that we both got tattoos in honour of each other.

"I got the star that Alex has on his arm on my side. It was my first tattoo and it symbolised the connection I felt with him."

Alex, 30, also got a symbolic tattoo to prove his commitment to his new wife. He shared a photograph where he is lifting his shirt revealing the ink.

"I'd only known [Zoe] for 2 weeks at the time I got this tattoo in Amharic, the native language of Ethiopia," he captioned the photo. "It translates to HOPE, as in I hope we stay together because I just tattooed your language on my body."

The couple, who were the only couple to remain together after season one of Married at First Sight, are also proud parents to three-month-old Harper Rose Garner.

Though the road to motherhood was complicated for Zoe, who sadly suffered a miscarriage in 2015.

The doting parents are often sharing beautiful photos of their little miracle.
