WTF?! Will Ferrell hits cheerleader in the face with a basketball

Will Ferrell just doesn't know how to handle his, erm, balls.

Watch the 47-year-old pegging a ball at a cheerleaders head during half-time of a New Orleans NBA game in the video above.

But before you start freaking out, Will was only shooting scenes for his latest comedy flick Daddy's Home, so nobody was actually harmed.

The star plays a divorced guy in the movie, who wreaks havoc on the life of his ex-wife (Linda Cardellini) after she remarries an uptight guy, played by Mark Wahlberg.

Linda and Mark were also spotted in the audience looking totally mortified alongside their on-screen kids.

Daddy's Home hits cinemas later this year.
