Will Bobbi Kristina Brown be taken off life support on anniversary of mum Whitney Houston's death?

There's no good way to mark the anniversary of a loved one's death, but we can't think of anything worse than having to take another family member off life support on the same day.

The New York Post first reported that Bobby Brown had made the painful decision to take his 21-year-old daughter Bobbi Kristina off life support on February 11, the third anniversary of her mother Whitney Houston's death. Now Us Weekly is saying this is absolutely not true.

Bobbi Kristina has been in a coma since being found face down in her bathtub on January 31. Considering how similar the circumstances were to her mum's bathtub drowning three years ago, having her die on the same day might have been just too much.

According TMZ, Bobbi Kristina's grandmother Cissy Houston came up with the idea because she wanted to "bond mother and daughter for eternity". Bobby went along with it after "realizing there is no hope".

Despite Bobbi Kristina's dire prognosis, a Houston family source tells Us Weekly that "there is no truth at all to the story".

Meanwhile, police are now investigating Bobbi Kristina's boyfriend Nick Gordon for unexplained injuries on her body.

The anniversary of Whitney's death is going to be a very sad day indeed.
