Which Aussie <i>Bachelor</i> star just got engaged?

This Bachelor babe has certainly hit the jackpot.

Despite losing out to Sam (erm, Louise) in this year's series of The Bachelor, Alana Wilkie has announced her engagement to fiancé and Perth Demons WAFL player Chris Billings… two weeks after revealing she was 12 weeks pregnant! Talk about a busy end of the year.

Posting a loved-up snap with her beau on Instagram from their Bali holiday, 26-year-old Alana wrote: "They say things always come in three's [sic] #baby #newhouse #engaged."

Soon after, her hubby-to-be posted the cute shot below. "Celebrating winning the TRIFECTA," he captioned the snap.

That certainly seems the case for the new couple, who announced their baby news on social media last month.

"And there were three… #baby #boy #girl #mum #dad," she posted alongside the pic below in November.

Talking exclusively to TheFIX soon after their shock news, the legal secretary said the pregnancy was totally "unexpected".

"I was so nervous because we'd spoken about marriage and children on so many occasion but we always thought it was going to be a few years away," Alana said. "But I think he's ready to be a dad and I don’t think he doubted that either. We're both really happy."

And while the baby news was a little surprising, we totally expected Chris' proposal… especially after the sports star hinted that an engagement was "pending".

"It's definitely on the cards," he added. "We have spoken about it. And this little surprise will certainly put it down that path!"

Let's hope their engagement lasts longer than Blake and Sam's super-short tryst.
