Victoria Beckham 'grateful' for family amid ongoing feud as sons take aim at Brooklyn

Victoria Beckham has taken to social media to say she is 'grateful' amidst the fallout between the family and Brooklyn Beckham.

It was business as usual for "Brand Beckham", with fashion and beauty entrepreneur Victoria, former footballer David and the rest of their famous family in Paris to see her receive a prestigious award.

But the family's picture perfect appearance in Paris, where she was honoured with the Officier de l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres award, was not without controversy after Romeo and Cruz Beckham appeared to take a swipe at their older brother.

In a now deleted TikTok video, the boys were seen in a chauffeur driven car with their respective girlfriends.

As they cruised through the Paris streets, the video panned to each as they mouthed the words "Wah, wah, wah" – the instrumental opening of the song On The Block, but also a common way to emulate a crying baby.

Musician Cruz, 20, then uploaded the video to his TikTok account with the caption, "Imagine hating and we're just here like".

It coincided with a loved-up video Brooklyn's wife Nicola Peltz shared on her Instagram account of the couple enjoying a romantic weekend away.

Many saw the timing of her video as a deliberate attempt to take the spotlight away from Victoria as she received the prestigious award from the French the Ministry of Culture for significant contributions to the arts.

Overnight, Victoria Beckham again took to Instagram to share a carousel of photos, including one of her family.

"I couldn't be more grateful," she wrote alongside the series of photos, including one of herself and David with Romeo and his girlfriend Kim Turnbull, and Cruz and his girlfriend Jackie Apostel.

There had long been reports that Romeo's relationship with Turnbull was one of the reasons Brooklyn severed ties with his family.

She had been described in the media as a former girlfriend of Brooklyn, but this had been denied by Cruz, who replied to one commenter on Instagram, saying the two never dated.

However, Brooklyn once again reignited the rumours in the six-page statement he uploaded to his Instagram story last week, in which he unleashed on his family.

Among his many damaging claims was that his parents had tried "endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding".

"My mum has repeatedly invited women from my past into our lives in ways that were clearly intended to make us both uncomfortable," he wrote.

Many perceived this as a reference to Turnbull.

But perhaps the most damaging allegations included claims his mother hijacked a wedding dance planned for himself and his bride.

"My mum hijacked my first dance with my wife, which had been planned weeks in advance to a romantic love song," he wrote.

"In front of our 500 wedding guests, Marc Anthony called me to the stage, where in the schedule was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me instead.

"She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone. I've never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life."

The allegations sparked a series of dancing memes about Victoria, including one that was liked by Cruz.

Sources old People overnight that David and Victoria were stunned and saddened by their son's public rant.

"They are staying quiet because they don't want to draw more attention to it," a source told the publication.

Meanwhile, another source quoted by the publication said, "David and Victoria love Brooklyn and are afraid of losing their son.

While Brooklyn said in the statement he did not want to reconcile with his family, sources told People that David and Victoria were open to reuniting – under one condition.

"The Beckhams have no intention of reconciling with their son unless Nicola is out of the picture.

"But that's not an ultimatum he's going to cave on.

"Brooklyn has felt more support from his wife in these past three years than from his parents in his entire life."
