Married at First Sight couple Troy Delmege, 35, and Carly Bowyer, 32, became the subject of speculation this week after Delmege posted a somewhat confusing snap of himself with his partner to Instagram.

In the July 24 photo, the smiley couple is snuggled up at Melbourne's St Kilda Beach, and the pic was captioned sweetly: "Evening strolls through St Kilda... this tour guide is pretty cute. #loveisintheair #poppinganeyebrow #mytonguejustdoesthat"

The only problem? Fans quickly realised it was clearly an older photo because of Bowyer's teeth, as she recently revealed that she had her smile enhanced with veneers, even documenting the process on her own Instagram.

One follower commented: "This is an old photo. I actually don't think they are still together."

"Pre-teeth work... just saying... an old photo. Looking good though, guys!" another added.

"Not even sure if @carlybowyer is even interested in him anymore!" wrote another.

"Troy, were you naughty to Carly? @troydelmege You are such beautiful couple, if you did something, hurry up and do something about that!!!" another follower added.

Coincidentally, Bowyer was asked by a fan on July 22 if she and Delmege were still together, because, at that point, she hadn't posted a photo with him since July 6, when they attended an iHeart Radio event together in Melbourne.

"Have you and Troy parted ways darling? If so I hope you are both ok, you both deserve to be happy," the fan wrote.

Bowyer responded affirmatively, "We're still together." She added that Delmege had been "avoiding insta at the moment!!"

Both Bowyer and Delmege still list each other as romantic partners on their personal Instagram bios, so there is likely still hope for these two! The reality couple first took their romance public in March and have remained fan favourites.
