MAFS bride Tracey reveals real reason she licks her lips amid cosmetic surgery rumours

Married at First Sight bride Tracey Jewel is coming clean about her "nervous tic."

The 34-year-old and her on-screen husband Dean Wells appeared Friday for a Q&A with Nova 100’s Chrissie, Sam & Browny, where Jewel was asked by a fan why she constantly appears to lick her lips on the show.

The question comes as some viewers have speculated that Jewel has had invasive cosmetic surgery on her lips, and that the licking is an attempt to keep them extra, err, lubricated. Reading off the fan's written question, asking if she was "aware" of her habit, Jewel replied with a laugh: "I’m aware of it now!"

She added, "I think it’s because I’m nervous, I think it’s a nervous tic," as she's under "so much pressure" on the show. We'd assume she means because of the constant #drama concerning husband Wells?

Jewel has been open about having cosmetic surgery in the past, however. The reality star admitted to having her breasts augmented and had lip fillers done. She told Daily Mail last month that she underwent 18 months of "reshaping" at a Perth cosmetic clinic before appearing on Married at First Sight.

"Reshaping is just filler and skin tightening, skin rejuv are peels and vampire facials," she admitted.

"Dr J at Aphrodite I’ve been seeing for last two years and they’ve done a great job with my Botox and lip filler."
