During his appearance on The Bachelorette, Colton was not immune to drama.

He infamously told Becca that he had briefly dated her friend Tia Booth after seeing her on Arie Luyendyk Jr.'s season of The Bachelor.

Tia then made a guest appearance to confess to Becca that she still had feelings for Colton.

She then returned on the most recent US series of Bachelor in Paradise and the pair picked up where they left off.

Then Colton ended things the day before his casting on The Bachelor was announced.

Many fans were shocked, and felt that he'd left Tia in the dust to appear on the show.
