Tessa James is pregnant, expecting first child with NRL player husband Nate Myles
Former Home and Away star Tessa James is pregnant!
The 26-year-old actress is expecting her first child with her NRL player husband Nate Myles and is around five months pregnant, The Daily Telegraph reports.
According to the publication, Tessa covered her growing baby bump as she walked the red carpet at the David Jones Spring Summer fashion show on Wednesday night, with her agent confirming the couple's exciting news.
Tessa and Nate became engaged in 2010 and reportedly wed in a secret ceremony surrounded by close friends and family the following year.
The actress, who is best known for her role as Nicole Franklin on Channel 7's Home and Away, previously underwent intense treatment for Hodgkin's lymphoma in 2014 and 2015.
Shortly after undergoing chemotherapy, the Roosters star praised his wife's strength telling The Sunday Telegraph, "It was not cool what anyone has to go through because of that."
"She’s tougher than any footballer I have played alongside," Nate added.
And Tessa gave her rugby star husband equal praise saying, "Nate always underplays his support he gives to me. He is my rock."
The daughter of former Richmond AFL star Stephen James made her on-screen return in 2015 in Nine's Love Child -- a role she landed before her diagnosis -- where she played a pregnant single mother.
"I was really excited to be a part of such a great show, we did a few screen tests and then went from there," the actress explained to Woman’s Day about landing the gig.
