One word from Taylor Swift shuts down marriage speculation

With just one word, Taylor Swift has shut down a major rumour about her relationship.

This month the internet was abuzz with speculation Swift had tied the knot with her partner Travis Kelce – all because of an envelope addressed to "Taylor and Travis Kelce".

Days later, the pop star has subtly confirmed her relationship status during a solo outing.

Over the weekend, the singer visited the Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital in Florida.

Photos and videos from her visit quickly circulated online.

In one video posted to social media, Swift explained to one patient why she was visiting – and spoiler: it had to do with Kelce.

"My boyfriend is training here, so I just thought I'd come and see how you're doing," she said in a video shared to X (formerly Twitter).

And there you have it, folks.

Swift specifically referred to Kelce as her "boyfriend" – so, no ring on it yet, it seems.

Kelce is currently in Florida training for the NFL season with the Kansas City Chiefs.

The marriage rumours started with a video posted by the event planner for NFL player Cole Kmet's recent wedding.

In a clip posted to her Instagram Story, Ellie Nottoli shared Swift and Kelce had been on the invite list with an envelope addressed to the both of them.

The envelope read "Taylor and Travis Kelce", with no mention of Swift's surname.

While invited, Swift and Kelce ended up attending a different wedding on June 6.

The couple were pictured at Kelce's cousin's backyard wedding in Nashville together.

More recently, the pair were spotted enjoying another sweet date out in Florida.

On June 12, Swift and Kelce attended Game 4 of the NHL's Stanley Cup Final.

They were pictured among the crowd – the first time they were seen out together publicly since the marriage speculation.
