'The rumours are true': Tammy Hembrow addresses dating claims in the most influencer way imaginable

Tammy Hembrow has addressed recent dating claims in the most influencer way possible, amid rumours of a relationship with AFL player Bailey Smith.

The content creator, 31, took to Instagram to post a video about her relationship status.

"The rumours are true. I'm officially in my new dating era, and yes, I'm on Tinder looking for my next crush," she said, revealing a partnership with dating app Tinder.

"My dating life always seems to make headlines, but you're hearing it here first," she added, subtly referring to her supposed romance with Smith, 24.

"I'm officially putting myself back out there. Honestly, I feel like everyone thinks dating has to be so serious. It's supposed to be fun!"

"I'm on Tinder to see who's out there. Hopefully I'll meet some people who match my vibe, and if it turns into something more, even better," she concluded, before urging her 16.9 million followers to sign up as well.

Interestingly, Smith himself did a similar campaign with Tinder in July.

"Rightio guys, I've done it, I've joined Tinder," he said at the time, before claiming he had joined to go on a double date with his friend.

Hembrow's latest partnership had many raising their eyebrows, causing debate in the comment section.

Some were in support of the mum-of-three putting herself out there again after her recent marriage split from Love Island Australia's Matt Zukowski.

"Honestly just let her live, get the bag and have fun! She deserves it," said one fan.

"Love you girl but be so for real [right now] how much did they pay you?" another asked.

"[I don't know] why people don't bat an eye when men do it, but if a woman does it 'so soon' it's considered bad," one fan pointed out, "If she feels ready and healed she's allowed to do whatever."

"People are losing their minds over this 😂 and it's a paid collab just like the other people in the 'public eye' endorsing tinder," one said.

Hembrow made headlines after being spotted with Smith in August on what seemed to be a date, just weeks after announcing her divorce from Zukowski.

The social media personality was photographed with the Geelong Cats footballer at the Burleigh pavilion, with the pair holding hands as they walked towards the famous Gold Coast establishment.

The Aussie social media star and Zukowski confirmed they were divorcing in late June after just seven months of marriage.

Two weeks after the media attention, the mum broke her silence on her supposed new romance.

Attending a Sasha Therese fashion event in Melbourne, Hembrow gushed about Smith to The Herald Sun.

"I'm here [in Melbourne] for a few things. A little work, a little play, a little bit of both," she told the publication.

"I'm not going to say anything about Bailey except he's a sweetie, he's a good guy."

Smith later said the pair were just "good mates" when asked if he was taking her as his date to the Brownlow medal.

Hembrow has three children – two from her previous relationship with Reece Hawkins and one from her previous relationship with Matt Poole.
