First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes… baby?

Sylvia Jeffreys is opening up about married life with husband Peter Stefanovic, revealing they would "love a house full of kids."

But the 31-year-old TODAY newsreader -- who is the Australian Women's Weekly January cover star -- was quick to shut down any bump speculation.

"Sadly, it's not happening in the immediate future," Jeffreys told the magazine. "We're not in a rush to get there."

Jeffreys tied the knot with her journalist beau (and fellow Nine personality) in April, in an intimate ceremony at Kangaroo Valley's Ooralba Estate.

HerTODAY co-host and now brother-in-law, Karl Stefanovic, served as Best Man, and guests included television stars including Lisa Wilkinson, Richard Wilkins, and Holly Valance.

Seven months on from their lavish nuptials, Jeffreys joked that both her and Peter's hectic work schedules has put any possible baby plans on hold.

"'Between both of our jobs, it would be a bit of a miracle if we can get a weekend together at this stage," she said, adding, "'It may need to be an immaculate conception if it is to happen any time soon!"

It's not the first time the Brisbane-born journalist has addressed pregnancy rumours.

"Someone tweeted me this morning and asked me if I'm hiding a baby (bump) because I was wearing a peplum jacket," Jeffreys told the Daily Telegraph merely weeks after their wedding. "Here we go, it begins!"

Peter popped the question during a romantic European holiday in July last year, after two years of dating.
