Smallville star Tom Welling and wife Jessica welcome second child: 'Pure Joy'

Tom Welling has welcomed another baby!

The Smallville alum, 44, and his wife Jessica Rose Lee announced the birth of their second child, son Rocklin Von, on Sunday. "Rocklin Von, welcome to your family," Lee wrote in the caption.

"Pure joy," Welling added in the comments, to which his wife replied, "ours."

Lee also shared two more photos of the newborn on her Instagram Story. "He's here," she captioned one snap, before posting another photo of her two sons spending time together. "Thomson Wylde and Rocklin Von," she wrote alongside the pic.

Welling announced the pregnancy news in an episode of the podcast Inside of You back in January. His former co-star Michael Rosenbaum broke the news while Welling confirmed it.

"Congrats on the, you know, you've got another kid on the way?" Rosenbaum asked, while Welling jokingly responded, "What?"

"She told you, you lying bastard!" Rosenbaum said. "But you do! You have another one coming. You have little Thomson, he's the cutest little — you know, there's nothing more infuriating than when beautiful people have beautiful children."

"He's a good, cute, funny kid," Welling said of his first child. "He makes me laugh all the time."

Welling and his wife have been married for one year and seven months, tying the knot in November 2019.
