Singer Mabel announces her engagement to music executive following lavish proposal: 'In a love bubble'

Singer Mabel is engaged!

The Mad Love hitmaker, 28, who is the daughter of singer Neneh Cherry, is set to tie the knot with footballer Garth Crooks' music executive son Preye Crooks.

Mabel revealed she got engaged during a lavish proposal at a gallery and celebrated on the evening with her family and friends surprising her.

She shared a video of the romantic evening on her Instagram page with fans and a sweet message to her new fiancé.

"Thank you God. Thank you thank you thank you ❤️ All praise to the most high for creating you."

On her Instagram stories, she added: "So many people involved in this surprise. I'm still in shock and in a love bubble so words aren't the easiest RN."

"Thank you to the parents, the aunties, the uncles, my sisters... all our friends <3," she added.

The pair have reportedly been dating since 2021.

One of the couple's guests at the engagement shared a video on TikTok, which showed Mabel appearing in shock at the lavish proposal and showing off her stunning diamond engagement ring.

"Whenever you spoke about her, I knew you really loved her. It was very clear from the start, just how deeply you felt for her," they wrote.

"With any and everything you did, you put her first and I learnt a lot from you in that sense and I'm blessed to have seen your relationship blossom and flourish. To happily ever after for you both."
