Sheppard release music video for Kiss My Fat Ass

Aussie band Sheppard have finally released the music video for their brand new song 'Kiss My Fat Ass' — and it's amazing.

The clip features singer Amy Sheppard shaking her booty alongside notable Australians including her sister and band mate Emma Sheppard, former Gladitator Tiffiny Hall, rapper Kaylah Truth, Paralympic silver medallist Monique Murphy, activist Taryn Brumfitt, dancer Jacqueline Quach and more.

"I only had a couple of weeks to organise everything and I'm so proud of it and I'm proud of all of the women who agreed to be a part of it with me," Amy told 9Honey Celebrity earlier this week when asked about the music video. "I purposely chose women who have inspired me and women who do incredible things. I wanted to send a strong message that all bodies look different and despite what someone looks like, everyone has a story and the way they show their beauty is unique."

The song exists thanks to Amy's body positivity movement, Kiss My Fat Ass. In January, Amy began sharing unfiltered and unedited photos — with the hashtag #KissMyFatAss — in a bid to encourage young social media users to love and accept their bodies as they are.

"Kiss My Fat Ass has changed my life," Amy told us. "I didn't set out to start a movement but with one post, I realised how much people are craving someone they can relate to. No one has a perfect body and no one should feel like they have to have a perfect body.

"By posting all of my perceived 'flaws', I was able to connect with other women who were feeling the same way about their bodies. I've learnt to accept parts of my body which I never thought I could and I am growing to love them. Of course, I still have my negative moments but I no longer let these moments drag on for days."
