'The Block' host Scott Cam shares rare photo with his twins

For someone who is on primetime television four nights a week, there's not much that's known about Scott Cam's personal life.

The long-time host of The Block has managed to fly under the radar for the most part, unlike his fellow TV counterparts whose lives are splashed across tabloids week after week.

Which is why it's a pleasant surprise when the 55-year-old does share moments with his family on social media.

Cam, who won the Gold Logie for the Most Popular Australian TV Personality for his work on The Block in 2014, posted a rare photo of his kids Bill and Sarah -- who are twins -- on his Instagram account after meeting up with them in Barcelona during their Europe travels.

"Reunited with my twins having a drink in Barcelona. Very happy," he captioned a photo of himself with his 18-year-old twins, beverages in hand.

A couple of months before this sweet family reunion, Cam shared photos of when he farewelled the twins separately ahead of their trips.

"My baby girl is going to Europe for 4 months I'm going to miss her," he wrote of Sarah's departure on May 24.

Bill followed soon after on June 12. "Now twin number 2 is going to Europe for 4 months, what am I going to do? Have a good time Billy," Cam said.

Cam and his wife of 26 years, Ann, are also parents to 22-year-old Charlie.

While Cam doesn't talk that much about his family, he has opened up about how close they are before.

"We're a very tight-knit family," he told TV Week last year. "We always do family stuff together. We get up every Sunday and all go for a swim and have breakfast together."

He cheekily added that he and Ann looked forward to all of the kids being out of school so they could plan a few more things as a couple.

"Now that we don't have any kids in school, we can go away on a few little trips," he smiled.

The Block airs Sunday at 7pm and Monday-Wednesday at 7:30pm on Nine and 9Now.
