Sarah Hyland shuts down troll who called her engagement 'obnoxious'
Sarah Hyland's so deep in engagement bliss, she doesn't even care about the haters.
The 28-year-old Modern Family star confirmed this week that she said "yes" to her longtime beau, 35-year-old The Bachelorette US alum Wells Adams, while on a tropical holiday together.
Since then, the actress has filled her Instagram feed with happy posts celebrating her engagement and showing off her gorgeous diamond ring.

However, one follower decided to take the low road after Hyland posted a video of herself and Wells lounging in the sun. In the clip, her diamond ring sparkled so brightly that Hyland joked that she couldn't tell if she was blinded by it or the sun itself.
In a comment captured by Instagram user commentsbycelebs, the person wrote, "Most obnoxious engaged dips--t award goes to you!!!!"
Unbothered, Hyland wrote back: "omg! I AM going for the most obnoxious!!!!! How'd you know??"
Hyland posted a stunning collage of engagement photos. In one pic, Adams is seen down on one knee and her hand is over her mouth in sheer awe.

The couple was first linked back as 2016, the same year he appeared on the popular dating show.
In October 2017, they went public with their romance by stepping out together in coordinating Stranger Things-themed costumes for Halloween.
