Russell Crowe's proud dad moment as son Charles graduates uni
Russell Crowe has had a proud dad moment.
The usually private actor took to social media overnight to celebrate his eldest son Charles' graduation from university.
Crowe, 61, who was most recently seen in the wartime movie Nuremberg, could not help but gush over Charles' achievement by sharing a throwback photo to X.

"Today my eldest received his Bachelor of the Arts (Latin)," he wrote.
"I'm going to have to build some more storage space to pack away all this fatherly pride.
"He's a little bit taller these days… and he's got a beard and such… but, same wise before his years fella."
Crowe shared Charles, 22, and his younger brother Tennyson, 19, with his former wife Danielle Spencer.

The two first met in 1989 when the New Zealand-born actor was in Australia to film the movie The Crossing.
They had a long, on-off relationship before Crowe started dating rom-com queen Meg Ryan, whom he met while filming the 2000 film Proof of Life.
After they split, he reunited with Spencer. They married in 2003 and welcomed their two sons in 2003 and 2006, before they split in 2012 and divorced six years later.
The two maintained a close bond, with Crowe often lamenting he continued to love her long after their split.
In a 2015 interview with The Sunday Times, he said "I've loved Danielle Spencer since 1989 – that's never going to change".

That same year, he told the Daily Mail he still couldn't understand what went wrong.
"I stare at her and go, 'How did this fail?' I still can't work it out."
Just last year, Spencer told the Something To Talk About podcast that she was the one who drove the break up, which had caused her guilt.
"Me kind of breaking up the family – and it felt very much like I was driving that – so I had to deal with my almost sense of guilt that I was fracturing the family," she said.
"But obviously I did it for a number of reasons, and I wouldn't have done it if I didn't think it needed to happen."
Crowe has since found love with actress turned real estate agent turned assistant Britney Theriot.

The two first met on the set of the film Broken City in 2013.
They reconnected years later and were first spotted kissing and embracing on a tennis court in Sydney's Rushcutters Bay in November 2020.
In 2022 she joined Crowe and his sons on a trip to Rome.
"Taking the kids to see my old office," he wrote on X at the time –a reference to his Academy Award-winning role in the film Gladiator.
