Rosario Dawson finds her cousin, 26, dead in her Los Angeles home: Report

Rosario Dawson's cousin has passed away at age 26, according to a TMZ report. The Sin City actress, 38, reportedly discovered the unconscious body of Vaneza Ines Vasquez in her Los Angeles-area home.

Citing law enforcement sources, the website reported that on May 11, Rosario walked downstairs in her Venice, California, home and discovered Vaneza lying unresponsive.

Medics were reportedly called to the scene to transport her to a hospital, but they were unable to resuscitate her.

Vaneza was said to have worked for Rosario. She reportedly had been suffering from migraines recently and also had hypertension. She was not reported to have a history of substance abuse.

Early autopsy results suggested she passed away from natural causes, according to TMZ.

Rosario, 38, recently started alongside Katherine Heigl in the psychological thriller Unforgettable, along with roles in the Netflix series Daredevil, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist.

Fans have flooded the actress' social media accounts with condolences. So far, Rosario has not responded publicly to the report.
