The 20 best albums of 2024, according to Rolling Stone
Rolling Stone has just released its list of the 100 best albums of 2024.
The list includes some recognisable industry greats and some breakout debuts in a celebration of some of the best tunes that have graced our ears this year.
We've pulled together the top 20 from Rolling Stone's list, which features some icons and some lesser-known stars.

Number 20 - No Name
Coming in at number 20 is the album No Name by American rock musician Jack White.
Number 19 - Funeral for Justice
Funeral for Justice by the band Mdou Moctor took out the spot for number 19.
Rolling Stone called the album "the band's most forceful album yet – full of anti-colonial and anti-corruption declarations."
Number 18 - Here in the Pitch
LA-based folk singer Jessica Pratt scored the 18th spot with her album Here in the Pitch.
The album Pratt's fourth studio album and received critical acclaim on its release.
Number 17 - Chromakopia
Tyler, the Creator's latest masterpiece Chromakopia was dubbed the 17th best album of the year by Rolling Stone.
"For longtime fans, it's an exciting proposition, one that opens up a new world of possibilities," Rolling Stone said of the album.
Number 16 - Sayonara
Puerto Rican artist Álvaro Díaz took out the 16th spot with his 20-song album Sayonara.
Number 15 - Diamond Jubilee
Coming in at Number 15 is Cindy Lee's album Diamond Jubilee.
Some of the hype aroung this album came from the unconventional way it was released.
Instead of dropping it on streaming services or in a physical edition, Cindy Lee first dropped the album as a 122 minute YouTube stream.
Number 14 - Two Star & the Dream Police
American artist Mk.gee took out Rolling Stone's 14th spot with his 12-track album Two Star & the Dream Police.
Rolling Stone made comparisons to Bon Iver and John Mayer while writing praise about the album which was released in February.
Number 13 - Charm
Coming in at number 13 was American singer-songwriter Clairo's third album Charm.
The album, released in July this year, brings together the genres of pop, R&B, soul and folk.
Number 12 - The Great American Bar Scene
He's an icon of the country music scene and his new album has impressed Rolling Stone.
Coming in at number 12 was Zach Bryan's studio album The Great American Bar Scene which features the songs Pink Skies and Purple Gas among other greats.
