'You're spoiling the show': Rod Stewart loses it at fan during Athens concert

Rod Stewart has lost it at an audience member during a show in Athens, Greece, claiming they were "spoiling" his show.

The singer, 80, was in the middle of singing his hit Do Ya Think I'm Sexy when he became frustrated with a concertgoer, stopping his performance.

"Out of the f---ing way," he said, looking into the audience.

It's unclear what the fan did to elicit such a response from Stewart, but he added, "'All she's doing is putting up a sign. It's not hurting you, is it, mate?"

The exchange was recorded and posted to social media, with one person writing, "Rod Stewart pissedd off! What happened?"

The singer's team have not addressed the outburst.

Following his Athens show, Stewart will travel to Abu Dhabi. He then has a three-month break before heading to his American tour in February.

Last year, the 80-year-old told fans on social media that he was planning to end his world tours.

"This will be the end of large-scale world tours for me, but I have no desire to retire," he wrote at the time.

"I love what I do and I do what I love. I'm fit, have a full head of hair and can run 100 metres in 18 seconds at the jolly old age of 79."
