Robbie Williams reportedly tests positive for coronavirus, quarantining in the Caribbean with family

Robbie Williams is reportedly quarantining in the Caribbean after returning a positive result for coronavirus.

The 'Feel' singer, 46, travelled to St Bart's with his wife Ayda Field and their kids Teddy, eight, Charlton, six, Colette, two, and Beau, one, prior to New Year's Eve.

"Robbie's been fairly sick," a source told The Sun.

"He's confined to the villa where he is staying with his family. It's not exactly the worst place in the world to be quarantined, although he cannot go to the beach. He will have to remain in quarantine for up to 14 days."

The recent diagnosis has forced Williams to self-isolate and prolong their stay. Last month, he was seen taking the necessary precautions when he went on a boat trip with a face mask on.

The hitmaker previously expressed his concerns about contracting the virus, admitting he'd been isolating on a mountain.

"I'm somewhere in Switzerland up a mountain. I'm a bit neurotic and I thought, 'Where can I place myself where it won't get me?," the singer told BBC in September last year.

"That's social distancing in the extreme isn't it?"
