'Don't talk anymore about it': Priscilla Presley breaks down in tears mid-interview over daughters death

Priscilla Presley could no longer hold back her tears while addressing her daughter Lisa Marie Presley's death in an interview with Piers Morgan.

As Presley opened up about her accumulation of grief after the loss of her grandson in 2020, her mother in 2021 and now her daughter, the star urged for a break.

"Don't talk anymore about it," she plead with the talk show host of Piers Morgan: Uncensored in a preview of their interview before taking a moment to herself.

Prior to that moment, the actress had expressed her pain at the loss of her loved ones.

"It was unbearable. I lost my mother, I lost my grandson, and I lost my daughter. It's still shocking that we don't have her."

Presley also revealed that one of the struggles her daughter was facing herself was grief over the loss of her son Benjamin Keough who died by suicide aged 27.

"Losing Ben was the hardest thing for her," Presley explained. "He took his own life, and he was the love of her life, that child, she adored him. She would do anything for him, anything."

Amid her struggle with accepting her son's death, Presley added that Lisa Marie herself had become somewhat suicidal.

"We were in Memphis, sitting up in the suite, and she said, 'Mum, I don't know if I want to be here,' and I go, 'What are you talking about?' 'You know, my Ben,' and she would go on about Ben and how she is still grieving,' Presley explained.

"And this was a couple of months before," she added, referring to her daughter's sudden death from a bowel obstruction at the age of 54.

After sharing with the host that she believed her daughter was suicidal, she choked on tears, leading to her requesting the break.

"It was unbearable," she told Morgan in the interview done in anticipation of the release of Sofia Coppola's biopic about her life, Priscilla.

"It's like a large part of your life is taken away."

Priscilla was set to hit theaters in October 2023 but was delayed to November 3, 2023.
