Prince Harry dating Suits actress Meghan Markle: Report

Prince Harry has a new lady love in his life, it would appear.

The 32-year-old royal is reportedly dating American actress Meghan Markle, best known for her role as Rachel Zane on the series Suits.

"He's happier than he's been for many years," a source told British newspaper the Sunday Express.

The source said that Harry is "besotted" with the 35-year-old LA-based star, but they're taking their relationship slowly.

"They are taking each week as it comes and just enjoying each other's company, but it's fair to say that they love seeing each other and there's a definite chemistry between them," the source elaborated.

"Harry has been desperate to keep the relationship quiet because he doesn't want to scare Meghan off. He knows things will change when their romance is public knowledge but he also knows he can't keep it a secret for long."

Apparently it's "too early" to call if it'll be a long-term romance or not, so don't go giving her princess titles just yet, people.

Harry and Meghan met in Toronto, where she films Suits, back in May when she was promoting the 2017 Invictus Games for disabled servicemen.

Meghan has visited London a few times over recent months - she was spotted in the Royal box at Wimbledon, and visited Buckingham Palace on July 5.

In fact, she's said to have met Prince William and Duchess Kate. Sounds more serious than just casual dates...

In one Instagram photo last week, Meghan wore beaded bracelets that are similar to the ones Harry has worn before.

Meghan's rep did not respond to People, while a Kensington Palace spokesperson said they "would not comment on private matters". That doesn't sound like a denial to us!

Meghan was previously married to producer Trevor Engelson from 2011 to 2013. She has since been linked to golfer Rory McIlroy.

Harry, meanwhile, dated Zimbabwe-born jewellery entrepreneur Chelsy Davy on and off for seven years during the early '00s.

From 2012 to 2014, Harry dated Cressida Bonas, the granddaughter of Edward Curzon, 6th Early Howe.

Since then, Harry has been romantically linked to British singer Ellie Goulding, English actress Jenna Coleman and Australian actress Margot Robbie.
