'They turned me away': Rapper Post Malone denied entry at Perth nightclub over facial tattoos
Singer Post Malone didn't exactly have the red carpet rolled out for him when he visited a swanky nightclub in Perth over the weekend.
The Circles singer may be used to the Hollywood treatment but it was a different story at the luxurious rooftop bar at QT Hotel, where he and his entourage were reportedly denied entry on Saturday night.

According to The West Australian, the 27-year-old New Yorker did not meet the dress code requirements of the venue, which reportedly includes no face, neck and offensive tattoos.
"They turned me away for my tattoos... I've never really experienced anything like that," recalled Malone, who last night wrapped his current tour of Australia where he opened for legendary band Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Among Malone's many facial tattoos are the words "Always Tired" under his eyes, ace of spades in the corner of his forehead, barbed wire in his hairline, and a sword running down the side of his face.
"Swords are f---king awesome, and I've been into them since I was a little kid," he told GQ in 2020.

In the same interview, Malone said there are many motivators behind his face ink: namely to annoy his mum and intrigue total strangers.
"I feel like the face tattoos make me interesting to look at," he said.
Refusing to dampen his Saturday night in Perth, Malone tried his luck at the nearby 18 Knots rooftop bar, where he was granted entry at the discretion of the security guards.
