Piers Morgan slams Nicki Minaj following controversial vaccine tweets: 'Rudest little madam'

Piers Morgan has unleashed a scathing attack on Nicki Minaj following her controversial vaccination tweets.

The 56-year-old British columnist slammed the rapper after she revealed she didn't attend yesterday's Met Gala due to its COVID-19 vaccine requirement.

Morgan said Minaj's tweets "will cost lives" — and added that the 38-year-old is "one of the rudest little madams I've ever met".

Minaj retweeted his message and quickly fired back: "Sir I've never met you. I know… We all look alike. 'Rudest little madam'. I like it. Has a special ring to it."

"Thanks Pierce. Love the accent," she continued. "I'd love to come chat. Scones. Tea. Clown nose & big red shoes for you. Lmk babe."

But Morgan didn't stand down, hitting back with receipts that the two in fact had met.

"Madam, we met on @AGT when you appeared as a guest act — but you refused to say hello to my three young sons because you were 'too busy,'" he replied. "Oh, and it's 'Piers' — I know, we Brit names all sound alike."

The 'Super Bass' rapper didn't back down either, replying, "Stop fkng lying. I never turn down pics with kids. If a middle person told you that, they were out of line. don't blame me you stupid piece of s--t. Wait AGT? What's that y'all ? I was on American Idol who TF."

In a strange turn of events, a fan tweeted a video of Minaj performing on America's Got Talent with Flo Rida and David Guetta. She denied it was her.

"He gon make me go live. Chiiiiileeee," she added. "Does he have an ig. I wanna go live with him. ENOUGH UGLY! @pierce."

Morgan hit back: "For the love of God.. it's PIERS."

The Twitter clash comes the day after Minaj shared her vaccine stance and addressed her absence from last night's Met Gala, which was for vaccinated guests only.

"My cousin in Trinidad won't get the vaccine cuz his friend got it & became impotent," she tweeted. "His testicles became swollen. His friend was weeks away from getting married, now the girl called off the wedding. So just pray on it & make sure you're comfortable with ur decision, not bullied."

There has not been any research that has proven the COVID-19 vaccine and erectile dysfunction are linked, according to the FDA fact sheets for the Moderna, Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson vaccines available in the US.
