Subtle video detail reveals Penn Badgley and wife Domino Kirke have welcomed twins

Penn Badgley is officially in his boy dad era. 

The You star announced his twin boys with wife Domino Kirke had arrived in a very subtle post on Instagram. 

The 38-year-old announced he was "interrupting twin paternity leave" to share details for an upcoming live event for his book, Crushmore.

In the clip, the Gossip Girl star whispered while walking through his home, as he announced the live event. 

He then panned the camera to a pair of tiny feet in a baby lounger. 

"There's tiny little baby feet right there. I don't want to wake them up," he said.

Badgley continued to discuss the upcoming event, looking like any other sleep-deprived parent as he tried to work out the most un-millennial way to tell people the info was in the link in his bio.

The actor wrote the book with his Podcrushed co-hosts Nava Kavelin and Sophie Ansari. 

As for the twins, the couple are yet to reveal their names or when they were born. 

Ahead of their arrival, Kirke, 41, had been sharing updates of her bump on her Instagram Stories. 

The new additions join the couple's four-year-old son, James, and Kirke's 16-year-old son Cassius, from a previous relationship.

She announced the pregnancy news in February, revealing it was quite a "plot twist" but adding "spontaneous twins are beyond magical."

Earlier this year at the premiere for the final season of his Netflix series You, Badgley opened up about the importance of raising boys in todays world. 

He noted there's a "pressure" on him and Kirke to "raise them well". 

"They're identical boys, so now we have four boys," he told Access Hollywood.

"You know, I do mean this sincerely. It sounds a bit tacky, but the world needs more good men, so, you know, pressure's on us to raise them well."

The couple have been together since 2014.

They tied the knot in a New York City courthouse in February 2017, and wed again in upstate New York four months later.
