'Suits' star Patrick J. Adams shares 'secret' video from Meghan Markle's on-screen wedding

Patrick J. Adams may have watched former Suits co-star Meghan MarkleMeghan Markle, but he still has some sweet mementos of their on-screen romance.

The 36-year-old actor recently shared what he called a "secret," behind-the-scenes video from his character Mike Ross' wedding to Rachel Zane (played by Markle) from the Season 7 finale, which aired on April 25.

Adams recently posted a Boomerang video of Suits co-stars Wendell Pierce -- Rachel Zane's father -- and Sarah Rafferty -- who played Donna Paulsen, Rachel's confidant and maid of honour -- dancing during a break from filming the ceremony scene.

"Found this," Adams began. "Never posted it because the wedding was secret blah, blah, blah. Wendell Pierce and Sarah Rafferty are goddamn national treasures. That’s all that matters."

The playful caption may have been a nod to the strict rules presumably in place at Markle's actual wedding on May 19, which was attended by Adams, Rafferty, Pierce, and fellow Suits co-stars Rick Hoffman, Gina Torres, and Gabriel Macht.  

Markle (as Rachel Zane) wasn't visible in the short video, but a photo released from the emotional finale episode showed her character walking down the aisle in a stunning lace dress, Wendell by her side.

And this wasn't the first candid look Adams has shared of his Suits family. In a December Instagram snap from set celebrating Rafferty's birthday, Markle can be seen casually laying on the floor, her bare feet kicked up on a cabinet.

The Season 7 finale marked the end for both Markle and Adams. Markle, of course, is now taking on full-time royal duties as Duchess of Sussex.

Adams confirmed in a January 30 Instagram post that Season 7 would be his last, calling the last seven years "life changing."

"Playing a character that so many people all over the world have connect with has been one of the greatest honours of my life," he wrote.

Suits will continue with Season 8, with Grey's Anatomy alum Katherine Heigl Katherine Heigl . An air date has not been announced.
