Paparazzo wants Lara Bingle arrested over Sam Worthington scuffle

Could Lara Bingle be facing jail time?The photographer involved in a public fight with the model and her beau Sam Worthington now wants to see her arrested, despite planning to drop charges against Sam over the "assault", Radar Online reports.

After allegedly kicking Lara, paparazzo Sheng Li says he was assaulted by Sam during the February incident in New York. The Avatar actor told police "I was only protecting my girlfriend" when he was arrested and slapped with a restraining order.

Although oddly enough in the heat of the moment, Sam referred to Lara as his "wife". Check it out in the video below.

Now, Sheng "will seek a dismissal of all charges arising from the altercation with Avatar movie star Sam Worthington and television personality Lara Bingle", his attorney Mark Heller told Radar.

"An application will be made for the immediate issuance of an arrest warrant for Lara Bingle for her assault on Sheng Li and for the issuance of an Order of Protection in favour of Sheng Li against Lara Bingle," Heller continued.

According to the lawyer, Sheng will appear in court on Tuesday with an entourage of photographer buddies to convey the message that "paparazzi are not second-class citizens or celebrity punching bags".

The legal team also plan on releasing video footage of the incident, with hopes that it will "clearly demonstrate that Sheng Li is innocent, was not the aggressor and that the conduct of Sam Worthington and Lara Bingle gave rise to the serious documented physical injuries that Sheng Li suffered."

There's no Instagram in jail. Let's hope for the sake of the public that Lara remains a free woman.
