Orlando Bloom reacts to Katy Perry's inauguration performance: 'One proud partner'

Orlando Bloom is in awe of his fiancée Katy Perry after her stellar performance at yesterday's inauguration for US President Joe Biden.

Perry closed out the ceremony with a performance of her 2010 mega-hit 'Firework'. During the number, hundreds of fireworks flashed behind her from Washington D.C.

In the clip, Bloom was filming the singer and proceeded to go over and congratulate her.

"That was awesome, baby," Bloom can be heard saying. "Great job, baby." The couple then shared a sweet kiss and Perry said, "I love you."

In the caption of the post he wrote, "One day our little girl will grow up and see her mother play her part in a moment in history that we hope will heal, we hope will unite, we hope, we love. One proud partner here with a tear of joy."

Joe Biden and his wife, Jill, watched from the White House as the fireworks lit up the sky in the capital city.

Other performers included Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, John Legend, Demi Lovato, Tim McGraw and Tyler Hubbard.

Perry and Bloom welcomed their daughter Daisy Dove Bloom in August 2020. Bloom also shares 10-year-old Flynn Christopher with his ex Miranda Kerr.
