'Love Island Australia': Sophie Monk summons sexy singles in new promo

Sophie Monk has given Australia a sneak peak into her upcoming reality show, Love Island Australia.

In a hilarious promo that aired on 9Go on Tuesday night, the 38-year-old host can be seen boarding a plane -- wearing a captain's hat and all! -- summoning a number of Australian singles to Majorca, Spain, for a six week getaway.

"Welcome aboard you beautiful, sexy singles," she tells her passengers. "Your love flight to Spain is about to take off. So buckle up, and couple up, cause we're heading to the hottest summer of your lives."

Monk, 38, revealed she would be hosting Love Island Australia in December last year and told TheFIX that she said she was thrilled with her new gig.

"I'm so excited. It’s honestly a dream for me," she said. "It’s so simple but fun, and the drama in it — to see if Australia can tell if [the singles] are there for the right reasons. I love psychology, so it’s fully exciting. It’s the ideal job."
