Nicole Kidman surprises Aussie fans with magical margaritas in Sydney cinema
Nicole Kidman gave Aussie fans the surprise of a lifetime after her unexpected appearance at a Sydney cinema on Friday night.
Returning home to Australia, the Academy Award-winning actress, 59, magically stepped out during a preview screening of her new movie Practical Magic 2 held at the Entertainment Quarter.

Kidman personally welcomed the audience ahead of the film and handed out midnight margaritas for a special toast.
“Stand up everyone and raises your glasses,” she said to the packed theatre.
The actress, who returns as Gillian Owens in the highly anticipated sequel, raised her glass and wandered through the cinema to cheers fans with their own drinks in hand.
“Sandy says hi,” said Kidman sending well wishes from co-star Sandra Bullock, who returns as on-screen sister Sally Owens after 28 years.

“She’s in Texas doing the same thing that I’m doing, but I’m here in Sydney with you.
“All of you found the film and have supported it, and it was kind of like us answering the calling. So hopefully, you love it as much as we do.
“It’s really lovely 28 years later as women to be able to still be here. So thank you for decades and decades of support,” she told fans. “I love you.”

Kidman looked practically magical as she appeared in satin white gown with a satin neck scarf.
The spellbinding dress featured a deep v-cut adorned with delicate lace and a red rose stitched across her chest.

The whimsical gown, which cinched at the hips, revealed more flowing lace with red roses embroidered throughout, a nod to the roses in the first film.
The Aussie icon wished everyone well before departing to a standing ovation.
Kidman’s surprise appearance comes just days after the Los Angeles premiere of the long-awaited sequel to the 1998 movie.

The star embraced a deliciously witchy aesthetic, wearing a semi-sheer black lace dress from Atelier Versace, complete with a neck scarf.
Bullock stood out in a black and white ensemble, a close-fitting velvet gown that was elevated with a deep V neckline and a crisp white oversized collar and cuffs.
Practical Magic 2 premieres in cinemas September 10.
