Salma Hayek seemingly silences 'feud' rumours with single photo after seconds-long clip with Nicole Kidman turned heads

Salma Hayek has seemingly attempted to quash rumours of a celebrity feud after footage of Nicole Kidman pushing her hand away during an event at Paris Fashion Week went viral.

The incident happened at the Balenciaga show on October 1.

In the footage we seek Hayek and Kidman posing for photos alongside Katy Perry. At first, Kidman puts her arm around Hayek, and warmly rubs her arm.

They then turn around to pose for the photographers gathered on the other side of the red carpet, and this is when Kidman pushes Hayek's hand away as Hayek appears to try to steer her towards them.

The footage quickly began doing the rounds on social media and sparked rumours of a celebrity feud.

Hayek then shared several photos from the show on social media the following day.

The sixth photo in the carousel shows Hayek posing for a photo with Kidman. Kidman is looking down while Hayek is staring directly at the camera.

"Finally last night the grand finale of my Paris Fashion Week 2025. Balenciaga and Demna for a terrific show," Hayek, 58, wrote.

Celebrity feuds: The co-stars who didn't get along

Kidman has not shared any photos from Paris Fashion Week on her social media accounts.

Hayek's billionaire husband François-Henri Pinault runs the luxury goods empire that owns Gucci and Balenciaga.

Pinault was seated in between his wife and Kidman at the Balenciaga runway show, with photos showing Pinault and Kidman chatting happily.

It was later revealed that this was Kidman's first public appearance following the death of her mother Janelle.

Kidman, 57, was at the Venice Film Festival days prior promoting her new movie Babygirl when she received word Janelle had died after a battle with breast cancer.

Kidman's statement read: "I'm in shock. The collision of life and art is heartbreaking, and my heart is broken."
