Nick Jonas buys new wife Priyanka Chopra $280,000 luxury car after comeback song reaches number one
Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra reportedly spent close to $800,000 on their lavish, week-long wedding three months ago, but that hasn't stopped them from reining in the spending.
The Jonas Brothers singer, 26, just splashed out a further $280,000 on his new wife after the band's comeback single 'Sucker' topped the Billboard Hot 100 charts.
"When the hubby goes number one.. the wifey gets a @maybach !!" Chopra, 36, gushed on Instagram alongside a photo of herself and Jonas sipping champagne next to the luxurious Mercedes-Maybach, which she's already named.
"Introducing.. Extra Chopra Jonas.. haha .. I love you baby!! Yaaay! Best husband ever..," she added.
It's only right that Chopra was gifted the plush present. After all, she did play a hand in the success of the new single. The actress was one of the first to break the news that the Jonas Brothers were reuniting after a five-year hiatus, taking to Instagram to spread the word.
"And yes they're back…and may I say… hotter than ever. So proud of the family," she wrote on March 1.
Chopra also appeared in the 'Sucker' music video, which dropped days later. The Alice in Wonderland-inspired clip was a family affair, too. Kevin Jonas and Joe Jonas -- the other two brothers who make up the band -- invited their significant others, Danielle Jonas and Sophie Turner, to appear with Chopra in the video.
"This is the first time we've worked together but not for a moment did it feel like work. Such a fun family affair…#JonasBrothers and the #JSisters cheering each other on! Proud of you husband," she wrote.
