Nadia Bartel's Brownlow red carpet appearance proves just how loved she is

Nadia Bartel's appearance at the 2019 Brownlow Medal on Monday night wasn't out of the ordinary for the event's red carpet stalwart, except for the fact this was her very first red carpet outing since her recent split from husband — retired Geelong player — Jimmy Bartel.

The mother-of-two had red carpet hosting duties on the night but that didn't stop her from topping best-dressed lists around the country. Wearing a pastel blue J'Aton Couture gown with a floaty train and a thigh-high split, she looked amazing, and her friends didn't waste the opportunity to let her know.

The queen of the Brownlow red carpet shared a series of photos from her hotel room ahead of the event and it wasn't too long before her comments were flooded with flame emojis.

Nikki Phillips, Pia Miller, Kayla Itsines and influencers Eleanor Pendleton and Elle Ferguson joined the masses offering their support for Nadia.

Even good friend Bec Judd, who often accompanies Nadia on the Brownlow red carpet, was sure to make her love for Nadia known.

The comments then got a little more creative with author, beauty mogul and fellow queen of the red carpets, Zoe Foster Blake using a poem to express her appreciation for Nadia's stunning 'new' look.

"Rose are red, Nadia's gown is blue, all hail Nadia, Version 2," the comment read; hinting that we may be seeing an evolution of Nadia's style in the wake of her split.

Bec Judd then one-upped her original comment with a sweet shout-out to her friend via Instagram Stories.

"Ain't nothin' gonna break my stride. Nobody gonna slow me down. Oh no. I got to keep on moving," Bec cleverly captioned a photo of Nadia with the lyrics from the 1980s hit by Matthew Wilder, 'Break My Stride'.
