My Kitchen Rules' Zana fires back at critics: 'Australia hasn't seen our true colours yet'

She's got under the skins of My Kitchen Rules viewers with her complaints about termites, bogans and even the $250k prize money, but Melbourne lawyer Zana Pali wants everyone to give her a chance.

The opinionated 24-year-old defended herself on Sunrise after being painted as the latest series' villain, saying we've yet to see the "true colours" of her and husband Gianni, 27.

When co-host David Koch asked if she had a "soft side", Zana gave him a dose of her sharp-shooting attitude – watch above.

The "legal eagle" couple say they're "not paying attention" to the torrent of social media hate, which is aimed squarely at Zana.

As one MKR Facebook fan summed it up: "Zana must be getting paid or just ensuring her 15 minutes of fame will go down in infamy."

Others have been more vicious when getting their knives out for the brunette.

And it's only just getting started, by the looks of things. In a preview for tonight's show, Zana whinges about vegetables with skin: "The carrots have hair, I don't like hair in my food."

She's not a fan of termites at the dinner table either, as she demonstrated last night with a diva tantrum. See below:
