Molly Meldrum in critical condition after fall from ladder

Molly Meldrum is fighting for his life after falling from a ladder at his Melbourne home.

The Australian music producer and TV personality has reportedly been placed in an induced coma after being treated at the scene by paramedics and then taken to hospital.

"He fell from a ladder, at some height, he was unconscious when we arrived," a spokesperson from Ambulance Victoria told the Herald Sun.

"He has been placed in an induced coma and taken to The Alfred Hospital in a critical condition."

The accident happened at around 6:40pm today (Thursday) at the 65-year-old's Richmond home. He was reportedly found by his gardener.
