Mindy Kaling shouts out Ben Affleck after Jennifer Lopez split
Mindy Kaling has given a shout out to Ben Affleck amid what is sure to be trying times for the actor, following reports his wife Ben Affleck has filed for divorce.
Taking the stage at the Democratic National Convention, the Office star closed out her speech with a shout-out to her home state.
"I couldn't leave here without giving a shoutout to the amazing delegation from my home state, Massachusetts. I love you, Massachusetts!" the actress said.

"Everyone is always hating on us, but they just don't get it. Go [Boston Red] Sox! Go Jayson Tatum!
"Ben Affleck, hang in there," she said, before adding, "Dunkin' Donuts is the best coffee in the world," referring to the actor's partnership with the iconic Boston brand.
The world was shocked when reports emerged that 'Bennifer' seems to have come to an official end after the couple's second time around.
Variety and People have confirmed Lopez filed on Tuesday August 20 in L.A. County Superior Court with the official separation date listed as April 26.
According to reports from TMZ, the singer filed 'pro per', meaning she filed by herself, without an attorney.

The pair tied the knot in July 2022 in a Las Vegas ceremony after re-sparking their romance from decades prior.
They later held a larger ceremony to celebrate their marriage on August 20, 2022, meaning Lopez filed for divorce exactly two years after their wedding.
