Miley Cyrus praised by Madonna for defending herself against Liam Hemsworth cheating allegations
Celebrities have rallied around Miley Cyrus after the singer was forced to defend herself against accusations she was unfaithful to husband Liam Hemsworth.
Hours after Cyrus released a powerful statement — in which she denied that cheating led to her breakup with the Aussie actor — stars such as Madonna and Bella Thorne praised the 26-year-old for speaking up.

"Thank GOD!! You are human! A woman has lived. No need to apologize!!" Madonna commented on the Instagram post.
"I love this. So much from the heart. Takes a lot to say. I love every version of [you.] Perfection is imperfect and that's a fact," Thorne added.
Meanwhile, Cyrus' older sister, Brandi, wrote, "Proud of you sissy!"
Other stars such as Vanessa Hudgens, Lily Aldridge, Amber Valletta and Big Little Lies star Shailene Woodley reacted to Cyrus' statement with red heart emojis.
In her statement — which she released on both Instagram and Twitter — Cyrus denied allegations that reality star Kaitlynn Carter or any other third party led to her August 12 separation from Hemsworth, 29.
"I can admit to a lot of things but I refuse to admit that my marriage ended because of cheating. Liam and I have been together for a decade. I've said it before and it remains true, I love Liam and always will," she wrote.
"BUT at this point I had to make a healthy decision for myself to leave a previous life behind. I am the healthiest and happiest I have been in a long time. You can say I am a twerking, pot smoking, foul-mouthed hillbilly, but I am not a liar."
Cyrus and Hemsworth announced their separation on August 12 after eight months of marriage. The actor officially filed for divorce on Thursday.
